Creating Three Dimensions: This involves learning techniques to make two-dimensional drawings appear three-dimensional, using shading, perspective, and depth to give the illusion of form and space.
Crosshatching: This technique uses intersecting lines to create shading and texture, adding depth and volume to drawings. It’s commonly used for value building in ink and pencil work.
Acrylic & Watercolor: These are two different painting mediums. This part of the class teaches techniques for both, covering topics like color mixing, layering, and blending to produce vibrant and expressive artwork.
- Advanced Drawing (with more materials): In this stage, students work with a variety of materials, such as charcoal, colored pencils, and inks, to explore more complex techniques and enhance their versatility in drawing.
